Genaro Delgadillo


Genaro Delgadillo was born and raised in Santa Monica California, attended college at California State University, Monterey Bay, and interned at Nickelodeon were he was a talent scout. During his time in college Delgadillo worked at a radio station as a promotions assistant, on-air personality and videographer.

After graduating from CSU, Monterey Bay in 2002, Delgadillo moved to Phoenix and began working in the news and sports industry for Univision Arizona, where he was Videographer/Chief Editor. An exciting part of this job allowed him to travel to many parts of Mexico on special assignments and to cover sporting events.

In 2007, Delgadillo began working for COX Communications video production department as a Producer/Editor. Highlights at COX Communications include producing two half-hour programs: Doing More For Arizona, COX Charities and Su Vida.

In 2012 Delgadillo started a new journey working for an air ambulance company as a videographer. Angel MedFlight Worldwide Air Ambulance was a brief 7 month journey that Delgadillo says he’s glad he took. Delgadillo began working for Salt River Project in late 2012, where he is currently a Digital Media Specialist.

2013 was Delgadillo’s first year serving on the board of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
